This week’s group of Vibe-Rater entries include a former American Idol winner, a YouTube viral sensation and a group of veteran SoCal emo-punks.

This past season’s American Idol winner Lee Dewyze launches his debut 19/RCA/RMG album, Live It Up, hitting retail Nov. 16, with the single, “Sweet Serendipity,” which is already racking up adds at Hot Adult stations WXLO, KEZR, Sirius XM Pulse, KWYE and a slew of others. The video is going into production with director Matthew Stawski, the guy behind Train’s “Hey Soul Sister” clip, with plenty of TV lined up, including upcoming perfs on Leno, Today Show, Regis & Kelly and Ellen. Universal Republic N.Y.-based rock group Atomic Tom have ignited a nuclear explosion online with their homemade YouTube clip, performing “Take Me Out” on the subway, which is now over 3 million views and counting. The track’s now being played on PoMo stations WRFF, KNDD, WFNX and more, with the band’s debut album, The Moment, hitting physical retail Nov. 23. Downtown SoCal emo punk rockers Cold War Kids’ third studio release, Mine Is Yours, is already seeing early love for “Louder Than Ever,” at KNDD in front of its official Nov. 16 PoMo impact date, with the vid in pre-production. The album comes out Jan. 25, produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon). Look for headline dates in Nov. through Dec.., and a national tour starting Feb. 2011. The band’s managed by Ian Montone, the guy behind White Stripes, Shins, Broken Bells, Vampire Weekend, Miike Snow and others. For more, see here.
