Simon Cowell’s Syco/Columbia discovery continues at #1, adding another 510k to her total, which now climbs past 1.2m for her stunning debut, I Dreamed a Dream.

Buyers seem anxious to make Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli their Santa Claus this year, as his Decca My Christmas album remains at #2, adding another 437k to its total, putting it in platinum-plus territory. It is up a whopping 103% this week.

Big Machine Grammy contender Taylor Swift’s Fearless logs another 130k to its total, now soaring past 4.6 million, good for #3.

Provident/Reunion’s Christian artists Casting Crowns (#5), Blue Note’s Norah Jones (#6), Interscope’s Lady Gaga with the Fame deluxe set (#7), Reprise’s Michael Buble (#20-8, +35%), 19/Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood (#9) and Sony Music’s Now 32 (#10) round out the leader board.

Among the big gainers are a batch of Christmas albums, including Buble’s Let It Snow (#46-29, +77%), Reprise’s Josh Groban (#26-13, +52%), Deutsche Grammonphon’s Sting (#28-16, +48%), Lava/Atlantic’s Trans-Siberian Orchestra (#38-25, +40%), American Gramphone’s Mannheim Steamroller (#45-36, +36%) and Mercury Nashville’s Sugarland (#34-24, +35%). In addition, J/RMG’s Rod Stewart is also up this week (#48-35, +45%).

This week’s releases include Jive/JLG’s Chris Brown, Priority/EMI’s Snoop Dogg, Mailboat's Jimmy Buffet, Columbia’s Glee, Vol. 2, Warner Bros.' Gucci Mane, Virgin/EMI’s Thirty Seconds to Mars and Blackground/Interscope’s Timbaland.
