DRAKE POINT GUARD OF KILLER PICK-UP TEAM ON “FOREVER”

King James Brings Together Rap Royalty on Featured Track From Upcoming Documentary, Soundtrack Album
In a hip-hop summit meeting along the lines of T.I.’s all-star jam “Swagga Like Us”—featuring Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West—Wayne, Kanye, Eminem and Drake have joined forces on the six-minute-plus track “Forever.” The song was created for and will be featured in the upcoming LeBron James documentary More Than a Game, with Drake getting top billing.

The More Than a Game soundtrack, out Sept. 29 on Interscope, will be executive produced by Polow Da Don and will also feature tracks by T.I., Mary J. Blige and Young Jeezy. “Forever,” produced by Drake’s “Best I Ever Had” collaborator Boi-1da, will reportedly officially be released to iTunes tomorrow, Aug. 28. Check it out here on YouTube—and hurry, cuz it could be yanked down at any moment.

As Rollingstone.com points out, one of the big surprises here is the presence of Lil Wayne, who has famously endorsed Kobe Bryant as the best basketball player on the planet—while Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake are charter members of Team LeBron. “Forever” marks Weezy’s first collab with Eminem, and that’s something the N’awlins MC has been wanting to do for ages.

According to MTV, these superpowers of rap will come together next month in New York to shoot a Hype Williams-directed video for the track.
