Warp alt-folk rockers Grizzly Bear are looking at a bow in the 20-25k target for their new album, Veckatimest, with very strong indie-store sales and, on yesterday's release date, an Amazon "Daily Deal" for $3.99, which could potentially send it higher.

RELAPSE REDUX, MANSON DEBUTS

Eminem Will Easily Spend Another Week at #1, Marilyn Manson Bows
Eminem’s Relapse will continue for at least another week.

The Shady/Aftermath/Interscope album, which debuted at #1 yesterday with the year’s biggest first-week sales of 601k, will undoubtedly spend another seven days at the top of the chart.

That’s based on one-day reports from those record retailers who haven’t had to mortgage their homes to stay in business.

Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown looks poised for the #2 spot, while the top debut appears Interscope artist Marilyn Manson’s The High End of Low, which sounds very much like his chart bow in the 50-55k range.

Other debuts include Machete/Universal Latin act Wisin Y Yandel, with a total that could reach 25-30k.

The wild card is Integrity Christian rock act Hillsong United, whose first week total of between 10-15k could upwards based on returns from bookstore sales.

Storefront/RED artist Mandy Moore is receiving some critical kudos for the indie debut, Amanda Leigh, reportedly her most personal yet, with sales in the 10-15k range.

Finally Glassnote French pop-rocksters Phoenix come out with the physical release of their latest, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, after their iTunes exclusive and three-song SNL appearance. Look for another 10k, more or less, in sales.

Have no fear, folks. The rush of summer superstar releases continues on Tuesday (6/2) with Dave Matthews Band’s latest for RCA, the peculiarly titled Big Whiskey and the GruGrux King, then includes Black Eyed Peas on June 9 and the Jonas Brothers’ latest on June 16.
