There’s a huge Line on the Horizon for tickets to U2’s 360° Tour.

With sales this morning of over 82k tickets sold in New York, 72k in Boston and 65k in Chicago, the tour set the largest single-day attendance record in each city.

In London, with over 6,700 tickets sold in just 60 seconds, ticket sales for U2 360° Tour at Wembley Stadium resulted in the highest sales rate ever in the U.K. At Dublin’s Croke Park, 160k tickets for U2 360° Tour performances on July 24 and 25 sold out in just 40 minutes, leading to the announcement of a third show in that city. Sales in Gothenburg and Amsterdam were so brisk that second performances were added and tickets sold out within hours of going on sale. U2’s tour opener in Barcelona sold out in 54 minutes, the fastest ever in the history of pop music in Spain.

The North American tour opener in Chicago Sept. 12 at Soldier Field was an instantaneous sell-out, with a second performance added the following night, Sept. 13, with Snow Patrol. In Boston, in addition to the sold out Sept. 20 performance, fans will be able to see U2 with Snow Patrol Sept. 21 at Gillette Stadium.

In New York’s Giants Stadium, Muse will open for both Sept. 24 and 25, while Toronto will also host two sold-out shows, Sept. 16 and 17, at Rogers Center. The Black Eyes Peas will open for the band at the Rose Bowl date Oct. 25.

Oct. 1: Charlottesville, VA (Scott Stadium), on sale 4/3
Oct. 6: Atlanta (Georgia Dome)
Oct. 9: Tampa (Raymond James Stadium)
Oct. 25: Los Angeles (Rose Bowl)
Oct. 28: Vancouver (BC Place Stadium)
