Disney’s Jonas Brothers Debut at #1, Incubus Top 5, Buble, Downing Top 20
The tweens are alright.

Hollywood RecordsJonas Brothers climb to the top with Lines, Vines & Trying Times, their third for the label, which scores 255k in sales in its first week.

That turns out to be enough to topple last week’s champion, Interscope’s Black Eyed Peas, whose The E.N.D. dips to #2, with another 148k added to its total of 456k.

Epic’s Incubus is the week’s other top debut, landing at #5 with Moents & Melodies, a greatest hits compilation with five new tracks, scoring 70k.

RCA/RMG’s Dave Matthews Band (#3) and Shady/Aftermath/Interscope’s Eminem (#4) round out the Top 5, giving IGA’s top hat Jimmy Iovine two of the Top 5, and with the label’s Lady Gaga (#6) just behind, three of the Top 6.

Walt Disney’s Hannah Montana: The Soundtrack (#7) gives Bob Cavallo’s House of Mouse two of the Top 10, which also includes Redline’s Chickenfoot (#8), Reprise’s Green Day (#9) and Big Machine’s Taylor Swift (#10).

Other chart newcomers include Reprise’s Michael Buble (#16), Concord’s Will Downing (#19), Curb’s Hank Williams Jr. (#22), Capitol’s George Harrison best of (#24), Tom Morello and Boots Riley’s indie release Street Sweeper Social Club (#38), Atlantic’s Laura Izibor (#39) and Columbia’s Pete Yorn, an iTunes exclusive (#46).

Columbia’s Beyonce (#36) and Bob Dylan (#37), Reprise’s Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood (#42), Arista Nashville’s Alan Jackson (#44) and Mercury Nashville’s Billy Currington (#45) all re-enter the Top 50.

Last week’s CMT awards show boosts any number of double-digit Country gainers, including Atlantic’s Zac Brown Band, leading the pack, moving #16-12, +42%, followed by Capitol Nashville’s Darius Rucker (#25-20, +40%), Mercury Nashville’s Jamey Johnson (#48-35, +38%) and Sugarland (#37-27, +33%), Capitol Nashville’s Lady Antebellum (#27-25, +27%), Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean (#18, +26%), Lyric Street’s Rascal Flatts (#14, +15%) and Capitol Nashville’s Keith Urban (#32-30, +13%).

Others experiencing a sales uptick include Def Jam/IDJ’s Chrisette Michele (#38-31, +26%), Interscope’s Keri Hilson (#34-29, +21%), Roadrunner’s Nickelback (#15, +17%), Epic’s The Fray (#44-43, +15%) and Atlantic’s Shinedown (#23, +14%).

Hitting stores this week are the physical release of Columbia's Pete Yorn as well as Warner Bros.Ginuwine, Regina Spektor and The Mars Volta, the latter making their label debut.
