Former Gap Band member and funk veteran Charlie Wilson’s war proves successful, as his Jive/JLG effort, Uncle Charlie, is the week’s top debut at #2, with 58k moving out the door.

Ex-frontrunner The Fray’s self-titled sophomore effort on Epic slips a notch to #3, while Roadrunner’s resurgent rockers Nickelback (#4) and Oscar star Beyonce rounds out the Top 5 with her still-active I Am…Sasha Fierce album on Columbia.

J Records/RMG’s Jamie Foxx moves #14-6, Roc-a-Fella/IDJ’s Kanye West #15-7 and Interscope’s Lady GaGa dances #26-8, followed by Universal Republic’s India.Arie (#9) and Rounder’s Grammy-winning Plant/Krauss album, Raising Sand (#10).

Lost Highway’s Morrissey bows at #11 with Years of Refusal, while the other chart newcomers include Columbia’s soundtrack to Nickelodeon’s Spectacular! (#36) and Arista/RMG’s Annie Lennox Collection (#40).

Disney RecordsHigh School Musical 3: Senior Year soundtrack (#20), WB’s Seal (#43) and A&M/Octone’s resilient Hollywood Undead (#49) all re-enter the Top 50 this week.

The #1 album over the weekend at iTunes should only get bigger, thanks to a Pussycat Dolls English-language version of Best Song winner, “Jai Ho,” a collaboration with Rahman. Team Iovine has the two hottest albums in the marketplace right now in Slumdog and neo-disco star Lady GaGa (up 12%).

Hollywood RecordsJonas Brothers soundtrack to their 3-D film hits the street Tuesday (2/24), along with Epic speed-metal thrashers Lamb of God.

U2’s No Line on the Horizon on Interscope and Def Jam/IDJ artist The-Dream’s Love v/s Money are in stores March 3, while RCA/RMG American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson’s latest, All I Ever Wanted, streets March 10, which doesn’t suck.
