COACHELLA UNFURLS 2010 LINEUP

130+ Act Bill Includes Such Draws as Thom Yorke, Vampire Weekend, Spoon, Phoenix, LCD Soundsystem, Grizzly Bear, Pavement and PiL
The 11th edition of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will once again feature just about everybody on the planet boasting a serious cachet: Pavement, Thom Yorke (whose name is enigmatically followed by four question marks in the announcement), Vampire Weekend, Spoon, Them Crooked Vultures, LCD Soundsystem, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Phoenix, Passion Pit, Tiësto, Deadmau5, David Guetta and MGMT. Also confirmed are some bands we haven’t seen in a while: Pavement, Public Image Limited, Faith No More, De La Soul, Gary Numan and (wouldja believe?) Sly and the Family Stone. The headliners will be Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz. More than 130 acts are scheduled to perform.

This year’s fest will take place April 16-18 at Empire Polo Club in Indio—the same grounds where Coachella debuted in 1999.

This announcement disseminated this morning by MSO promises expanded camping options--including car, RV and traditional tent camping, along with a first: in-and-out privileges for all attendees. Additionally, attendees will once again have the option to purchase tickets and various onsite camping options via a layaway plan.

Coachella has partnered with Valley Music Travel to provide exclusive travel packages, local hotel shuttles and private home rentals with VIP Coachella access. For more info and to purchase tickets, which go on sale Jan. 22, go to www.valleymusictravel.com/coachella.php.
