Hollywood Pop-Rockers, Firm Music Thrashers Feel the Heat
A Windy City pop-rock outfit with a huge hit already under their belts and an L.A. groove/thrash band are the two additions to this week’s HITS Vibe-Raters for groups making strides in the marketplace.

Fearless/Hollywood’s Chicago rockers Plain White T’s, who had a huge, multi-format smash in “Hey, Delilah,” selling 700k of the album, return with their fourth release (and second for Hollywood), Big Bad World, and a new single in “1234 (I Love You),” currently breaking at Hot Adult and Triple A. Airplay includes WTMX, WBMX, WKTI, KIMN, KMXP, WKRQ and WZPL. The group’s currently on the Rock Band Live Tour with Panic at the Disco though Nov. 13, followed by headline dates. Look for TV performances on Regis & Kelly (11/3) and Conan (11/26), with an upcoming taping of a One Life to Live episode. Check their Vibe-Raters entry here.

"Never Enough” is the new single from L.A. groove-rockers Five Finger Death Punch’s The Firm Music debut, The Way of the Fist. The song’s receiving Active and PoMo spins all over, including KHBZ, WMFS, KILO, WRIF, WEDG and KBPI, among others. The band will play the KBPI Christmas Radio Show on Dec. 1, with a featured guest appearance on fuse this week.
