Moving from urban to rural, Van Morrison’s album of country standards (Lost Highway) should do around 30k, give or take a few chestnuts…er, units. And the Little Willies (Milking Bull/EMI), a Norah Jones side project that does not have her name on cover, is likely to be scooped up by 20k-30k informed fans.
According to our research, the market was basically flat compared to a week ago, but off by almost 10% vs. the same week last year, when 50 Cent’s The Massacre debuted at 1.1 million units. That keeps business year-to-date trailing last year by around 2-3%.
