ARTIST EMPOWERMENT IN THE NEW MUSIC INDUSTRY
If you were expecting to read Barrett’s latest installment, you’ll have to tune back in next week, as Barrett played his symphonic composition at the Hollywood Bowl this past weekend in front of 16,000 people and was super-busy with preparation and then recording sessions.

THEY'RE HAVING A BIRTHDAY: Finally, a very happy birthday to our own Karen Glauber (Sunday) and J.J. Garcia (Monday). Karen is registered for gifts at Dolce & Gabbana, while J.J. is signed up at 7-Eleven.

JE-C’S NEW-MOVIE RUNDOWN
The Bourne Ultimatum
Starring: Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, Joan Allen, Edgar Ramirez, David Strathairn, Paddy Considine
Synopsis:
Still having no memory of who he really is or where he's from, super-spy Jason Bourne goes on one last adventure to find himself … literally. With some help from his former co-conspirator, Nicky, Bourne must continue to evade CIA director Pamela Landy and spar with a mysterious figure from his past—the deadly Paz (Ramirez), who was trained in the same deadly secret program as Bourne.
Thoughts: All I’ve been hearing is how amazing this movie is, and considering how good the first two were, I can only imagine.
