BREAKER! BREAKER!

AOL Music Picks Six for Its Breakers Program for Emerging Artists
Tomorrow, March 31, AOL Music rolls out its next Breakers program, this time featuring British singer Corinne Bailey Rae (Capitol), pop-punk band Cartel (Epic), country act the Lost Trailers (BNA), buzzing Australian hard-rock trio Wolfmother (Interscope), singer/songwriter Mat Kearney (Columbia) and 15-year-old rapper Young Leek (Def Jam/IDJ).

Throughout the season, these acts will be showcased on AOLMusic.com and across the various AOL platforms. Campaigns will include an appearance on AOL Sessions, AIM Music Interviews, song and music video debuts and major spins on AOL Radio ( http://www.aolradio.com).

This year, the Breakers program is being sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, which has teamed with AOL Music to create On Our Radar, a weekly feature designed to showcase additional up-and-coming acts.

Said former Breakers beneficiary Ne-Yo: “There’s no way of overstating the impact of being an AOL Music Breaker. My music was played millions of times on AOL Music and introduced me to a whole new audience. It’s a great way to break through.”

Other recent Breakers success stories include John Legend, Fall Out Boy, Sugarland, Panic! at the Disco and Teddy Geiger.
