Breakers program, this time featuring British singer
Corinne Bailey Rae (
Capitol), pop-punk band
Cartel (
Epic), country act the
Lost Trailers (
BNA), buzzing Australian hard-rock trio
Wolfmother (
Interscope), singer/songwriter
Mat Kearney (
Columbia) and 15-year-old rapper
Young Leek (
Def Jam/IDJ).
Throughout the season, these acts will be showcased on
AOLMusic.com and across the various
AOL platforms. Campaigns will include an appearance on
AOL Sessions,
AIM Music Interviews, song and music video debuts and major spins on
AOL Radio (
http://www.aolradio.com).
This year, the Breakers program is being sponsored by
Mercedes-Benz, which has teamed with
AOL Music to create
On Our Radar, a weekly feature designed to showcase additional up-and-coming acts.
