Smith returns to EMI Music April 16 as SVP of Global Marketing, with responsibility for the management of key global projects in collaboration with the company’s major repertoire centers, reporting to Cecillon. She will work closely with EMI Group CEO Eric Nicoli, EMI Music UK & Ireland Chairman/CEO Tony
Smith worked for nine years at U2’s Principle before joining EMI Music as Director of Global Marketing for Capitol between 2003 and 2005.
Reporting to her will be Celia Carrillo, who transfers from EMI’s Continental European marketing team to become senior director of global marketing, EMI Music.
The EMI Music International division will form a new international marketing team to focus on the promotion of worldwide priorities within all markets, as well as to identify repertoire and projects from the region with global and multi-region potential. The EMI Music International region comprises Continental Europe, Middle East & Africa,
The new team will be headed by Giampietro Paravella, who is appointed SVP of International Marketing, EMI Music International, reporting to Cecillon. Reporting to Paravella will be Laurent Chapeau, who is upped from Managing Director of Virgin Music in

James Bradbury has been appointed VP Global Catalogue Marketing for EMI Music, reporting to Cecillon. He joined EMI in 1995, initially working in account management and trade marketing roles at EMI Music
Reporting to him in the global catalogue marketing team will be Dave Rowe as director, and Helen Varley as project manager.
