And a Virgin—as well as some Crashers—shall lead them.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Wedding Crashers lead the group of nominees for The 2006 MTV Movie Awards with five apiece, including Best Movie, Best Comedic Performance and Best On-Screen Team.

Batman Begins, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Hustle & Flow, Sin City and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith are tied with three nominations each.

The show will take place on June 3 at Sony Studios in Culver City, CA, and will air on MTV, Thursday, June 8 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), and once again be produced and directed by Tenth Planet's great Joel Gallen. Oh, yeah, Joel, by the way, where are our tickets?
