DAVIS GETS UMVD EVP STRIPES

As tipped in this very space last week, Mike Davis has been named Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing for Universal Music & Video Distribution by President Jim Urie. Davis will be based at the company's Universal City headquarters and reports directly to Urie. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales.

As part of duties, Davis will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing for the company, including its continued aggressive expansion into the digital marketplace.
