Using EA’s WWII-inspired Medal of Honor European Assault and the whimsical The Sims 2 as the basis of the curriculum, the Pro Session will give students with all the knowledge and tools to complete their ultimate assignment, as they compose two minutes of nonlinear music and interactive sound, which will be played in an EA game environment. During the course of the sessions, they’ll get plenty of hands-on experience by interacting with EA’s music authors and engineers. They’ll also get advice and constructive feedback on their projects from ELLA VP/GM Neil Young, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing Steve Schnur, lead sound designer Erik Kraber and a special guest, composer Michael Giacchino (Lost, Alias, The Incredibles), who scored the music for Medal of Honor.
