Editor’s Note: Investigators have uncovered a marijuana farm with over 23,000 plants growing in a steep canyon area in Solano County, CA. It’s estimated that the plants, kept in excellent condition with an advanced irrigation system, were valued as high as $117 million. The illegal weed has been destroyed…along with the night jobs of most HITS staffers.

JE-C’S NEW MOVIE RUNDOWN
Bewitched

Starring: Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell, Michael Caine, Shirley MacLaine, Steve Carell and Heather Burns
Synopsis: Against the wishes of her father, Isabel Bigelow, a witch, decides to move to the L.A. Valley and live a normal life. She meets Jack Wyatt, a down-on-his-luck film actor who's trying to revive his career by playing the lead role, Darrin, in a big-screen remake of the old Bewitched TV show. Jack then decides that Isabel would be the perfect choice to play his TV wife.
Thoughts: With Ferrell and Kidman, plus a great supporting cast, this movie has the potential to be a winner. Plus, they make fun of the Clippers in it; gotta love that.

The Land of the Dead
Starring: Simon Baker
, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento and Robert Joy
Synopsis:
While the walking dead wreak havoc across the globe, the citizens of a walled city try to scrape out a zombie-free existence. Riley leads a crew of soldiers given the task of protecting the living from the undead. But Riley notices a disturbing trend: The zombies are developing intelligence and organizing an army.
Thoughts: Oh please. Didn’t they just do a remake of Dawn of The Dead? I don’t want to see another movie that is the exact same thing.
