NETTWERK, RCA PACT FOR DISTRIBUTION

Canadian Company and Nipper Deal Includes Jose Rouse, Leigh Nash, Transamerica soundtrack
Nettwerk and the Nipper are a pair.

The RCA Music Group has entered into an exclusive relationship for distribution of Nettwerk Records in the U.S. As part of the arrangement, all RCA sales execs will add "eh?" to their requests for retail orders.

Commented RCA EVP/GM Richard "Colonel" Sanders: “The RCA Music Group has enjoyed many years as business partners with some of Nettwerk's most talented artists from their management arm. Adding to this relationship to now include the Nettwerk Record Label is a natural extension of our long term relationship and we look forward to an equally long and prosperous one. And we get a free sixpack of Molson's Ale and back bacon with every sale.”

Nettwerk Records is home to the likes of Old Crow Medicine Show, Delerium, The Be Good Tanyas, The Perishers and Tiesto. The label plans upcoming releases from such artists as Josh Rouse, Leigh Nash, State Radio and the soundtrack to Transamerica with an exclusive track from Dolly Parton that has been nominated for a Golden Globe and is surrounded by Oscar buzz for its performance by Felicity Huffman as a transsexual visiting the son she never knew she had as a man.
