PALMER EXITS TRAUMA

Co-Founder/Co-President Splits Indie Label

Trauma Records' Co-Founder/Co-President Paul Palmer is leaving the label he formed with Co-President Rob Kahane nearly a decade ago.

The two formed Trauma in the mid-‘90s and are best known for helping break Bush and No Doubt. The label and its roster will continue to operate under Kahane.

Palmer had been responsible for A&R at Trauma, and has mixed many of the label's pop, rock and indie hits.

Palmer and Kahane helped created a valuable independent catalog, which has generated sales in excess of 33 million albums worldwide.

Palmer’s departure is amicable and the terms of his exit have not been disclosed. He is currently in the studio developing projects for several artists. He can be reached at [email protected].

Trauma continues to be distributed through RED and have recently released the soundtrack to X2: X-Men United. The company continues to distribute the Bush catalog.
