EXECUTIVE SHUFFLE AT VIRGIN ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

Longtime Wherehouse VP Merchandising Kevin Milligan is leaving Trans World, which acquired the WH chain last year, to join VEG as VP Product (purchasing).

In a related move, VEG SVP Product and Marketing Dave Alder takes the new title of SVP Marketing and Strategic Development.

Highly respected Virgin veteran Sr. Director Product Vince Szydlowski will now shift his responsibilities to focus on strategic product planning, analysis and the quality control and development of Virgin’s assortment.

In his new role, Szydlowski will be reporting to Milligan. Also, SVP IT and Operations Steven Winningham has been upped to EVP IT Ops and Product.

In an unrelated move VEG is reportedly closing its Columbus, OH, location.
