HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF

Rumors That New HITS Associate Mix Show Editor Used to Work at CNN Remain Unconfirmed
It’s a job that requires a brave man unafraid to take risks—not to mention a strong stomach and a dulled sense of smell.

Newly named HITS Associate Mix Show Editor Wolf D has all of that and more, including an inspired wardrobe and an old school ABA-style ’fro. The former WKKV Milwaukee personality and Mix Show jock is used to Ricky Leigh Mensh’s (ahem) style, having reported playlists to the Pope of the Mixshow Vatican for the past five years. In his new position, Wolf will shed any remnants of a personality.

Said Ricky Leigh: "He’s a living tribute to Dolemite, Afro-Sheen and Soul Train. Actually, he’s a former Soul Train dancer."

Wolf, who never cries, is also a producer/remixer who has worked on projects for LaFace and Aaliyah. The Second Coming of Dr. Dre, as Wolf likes to refer to himself, also claims to be a boring guy, which makes him a perfect fit to work here.

Upon hearing of Wolf’s appointment, HITS Editor In Chief Lenny Beer said: "Who is Wolf D and how much am I paying him? And does he bite?"

HITS Publisher Dennis Lavinthal was on vacation and unavailable for comment.

Wolf will be responsible for clipping all disparaging Washington Redskins remarks out of the sports section and changing the letter S to Z and E to A in all of Ricky’s columns.
