GRAMMYS TO STAY IN L.A.

Plans For The Annual 14-Hour Awards Show Closely Guarded

Michael Greene, President/CEO, The Recording Academy, will be joined today (10/31) by Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, Boyz II Men, Rob Zombie, Dwight Yoakam, Sisqo, Robi "Draco" Rosa, Raphael Saadiq and others to announce the date and location of the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards.

At a press conference scheduled to take place at noon today, Greene is expected to announce that this year's Grammys will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

While the location of the Grammy Awards has alternated between Los Angeles and New York, our deductive abilities tell us that if Riordan is present at this press conference, it is more likely than not that the Grammys will be held in Los Angeles for the third consecutive year. It is the second time the awards will be broadcast from the Staples Center.

No confirmation whether Greene will be wearing his Halloween costume Tuesday—a Rudolph Giuliani mask with an ax imbedded in its scalp.
