HIM COLLINS, THEM SUE

King Of Pop Jungle Faces Royalty Claims
A lawsuit against Academy Award winner Phil Collins over back royalties goes to court today in London. Louis Satterfield and Rahmlee Michael Davis, two hornmen from Earth, Wind & Fire, are seeking to restore royalty payments from an album they recorded in 1990 with the singer.

The musicians allege that after six years, the payments were cut off by Collins’ accountant, who claimed they had been overpaid nearly $400,000 because they only played on five of the album’s 15 tracks.

In a related story, Kool & The Gang plan to sue Collins for a piece of "Tarzan" because they wrote "Jungle Boogie."
