RCA Pop/R&B Diva Nabs First-Ever #1, Among Seven Newcomers to Top 10
Think P!nk. The RCA pop/R&B diva scores her first-ever chart-topping album with The Truth About Love, which debuts at #1, amassing 281k in total sales. Her previous high was 2008's Funhouse, which peaked at #2.

That makes it two in a row for Peter Edge and Tom Corson's label, following up last week's Dave Matthews Band release.

Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music compilation on Def Jam/IDJ, Cruel Summer, bows at #2 with 216k after a one-day absence from iTunes on day of release.

Island//IDJ Vegas rockers The Killers' Battle Born gives Steve Bartels' team two of the Top Three, entering at #3 with 115k in sales.

Last week's #1 album, RCA jammers the Dave Matthews Band's Away from the World dips to #4, while Capitol Nashville/EMI's Little Big Town rounds out the Top 5.

604/Schoolboy/Interscope Canadian chanteuse Carly Rae Jepsen's Kiss enters at #6, followed by new entries from Warp indie darlings Grizzy Bear (#7), Mercury Nashville country singer-songwriter Easton Corbin (#9) and Michael Jackson's 25th anninversary edition of Bad (#10) on Sony's Legacy.

Columbia legend Bob Dylan's Tempest (#8) is the other lone Top 10 holdover.

Legacy's Ben Folds Five album Sound of the Life of the Mind enters at #11. Other Top 50 newcomers include Columbia's Band of Horses (#14), WB Nashville's Big & Rich (#24) and Dwight Yoakam (#25), Strange Music's Tech N9ne (#31),Columbia's Glee Cast Britney 2.0 (#38) and Republic's Alex Clare (#47).

Republic's Of Monsters & Men (#37), Nonesuch's The Black Keys (#44), New Elektra's Ed Sheehan (#49) and RCA's Usher (#50) all return to the chart.

Capitol/EMI's Katy Perry shows the biggest upward mobility of all the double-digit gainers, moving #45-35, +70%, followed by Atlantic's Hunter Hayes (#42-34, +63%), Glassnote's Mumford & Sons (#31-29, +33%), XL/Columbia's Adele (#12, +21%), Dualtone's Lumineers (#18, +20%), Capitol Nashville/EMI's Luke Bryan (#26, +17%), A&M./Octone's Maroon 5 (#15, +12%) and 19/Arista Nashville's Carrie Underwood (#28, +11%).

Look for Glassnote's Mumford & Sons album to top next week's chart, which will also include releases by Atlantic's Lupe Fiasco, Reprise's Green Day, Interscope's No Doubt and Ultra's Deadmau5.
