TOP 40

Republic ends the year doing what they've done so many times in 2014: getting the #1 Most Added song of the week. This time it's James Newton Howard f/Jennifer Lawrence’s “The Hanging Tree.” The label also picks up a second slot with Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me.” RCA nabs two spots as well with Pitbull f/Ne-Yo’s “Time of Our Lives” and Prince Royce f/Snoop Dogg’s “Stuck on a Feeling.” Columbia scores once again with Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” (SYCO). Capitol returns with 5 Seconds Of Summer’s “What I Like About You,” as does Epic with Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer (SYCO).”

RHYTHM

Columbia has a great week, as J. Cole’s "Apparently" (Roc Nation) is Most Added and Beyoncé’s "7/11" picks up another 10 adds. Over at RCA, Prince Royce f/Snoop Dogg’s "Stuck on a Feeling" has a tremendous initial week, and labelmate Mr. Probz pulls in seven new commitments with “Waves” (Ultra). Glassnote’s Childish Gambino, fresh off two Grammy noms, picks up six new believers with "Sober."

ALTERNATIVE
For a third straight week, Glassnote’s Robert DeLong has the Most Added record at Modern Rock with “Long Way Down.” Brushfire/Republic’s Bahamas had a good first week of adds with “All the Time.” Other winners included buzz-band Glass Animals’ “Gooey” (Harvest) and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” (Crush/Vanguard).
