Geffen’s The Game debuts just outside the Top 5 at #6, while Green Day’s Reprise album Tre, the third in their trilogy, enters at #9. The rest of the Top 10 includes 19/Interscope’s Phillip Phillips (#7), Warner Bros. Nashville’s Blake Shelton (#8) and RCA’s Alicia Keys (#10).
Big Machine’s Music of Nashville soundtrack enters at #13. Other Top 50 newcomers include WaterTower’s Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey soundtrack (#26), Def Jam/IDJ’s Big Boi (#33) and Fonovisa’s Jenni Rivera (#35), while Lava/Republic’s perennial Trans-Siberian Orchestra re-enters at #50 with Lost Christmas Eve.
The week’s top double-digit gainers include Capitol Nashville’s Little Big Town (#21-17, +39%) and New Elektra artist Cee Lo Green’s Magic Moment (#32-29, +39%), along with XL/Columbia’s Adele 21 (#23-20, +32%), Capitol Nashville’s Luke Bryan (#31, +30%), 19/Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood (#25-23, +29%), Glassnote’s Mumford & Sons Babel (#14, +25%) and Capitol Nashville’s Eric Church (#39, +25%).
