How the Adds Stacked Up at Top 40, Rhythmic and Alternative

Kudos to Todd Glassman and team at Epic, who score #1 Most Added at Alternative with Kongos and at AC with A Great Big World, #2 at Rhythm with Kat Dahlia and Top 5 at Pop with Karmin. We also must give a shout to Lee Leipsner's Columbia promo squad, with multiple songs at Top 40 (see below) and the John Legend campaign exploding now.

TOP 40
Columbia
takes full advantage of a trio of Grammy-night performances with a Most Added week for Pharrell Williams’ "Happy," Beyoncé f/Jay Z’s "Drunk In Love," John Legend’s "All Of Me" (ahead of official add date) and also scores with DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s "Turn Down For What." RCA returns to the Most Added list for a third big week on Shakira f/Rihanna’s "Can’t Remember To Forget You" (bolstered by a Grammy-night Target TV teaser) and for a second week with Kid Ink f/Chris Brown’s "Show Me." Epic makes the list ahead of the official add date on Karmin’s "I Want It All," as does Republic with Austin Mahone f/Pitbull’s "Mmm Yeah." WB scores for a fourth week in a row on Jason Derulo f/2 Chainz’ "Talk Dirty," Island/IDJ has a breakout week on Avicii’s "Hey Brother" and Hollywood makes a return appearance with Demi Lovato’s "Neon Nights."

RHYTHMIC
Hot off his Grammy wins, Columbia's Pharrell continues his winning ways by being Most Added with "Happy." A tremendous week for Epic, as Kat Dhalia's "Crazy" nabs 14 adds. Great work from Rachael Spangler and crew! RCA's Chris Brown scores another double-digit add week on "Loyal." Jay Z makes another statement with 12 adds on "Part II" featuring Beyoncé. "The Language" by Republic's Drake, YG's "My Hitta" (CTE/Def Jam/IDJ) and two from Columbia, John Legend's "All Of Me" and DJ Snake & Lil Jon's "Turn Down For What," all enjoyed solid weeks.

ALTERNATIVE
Epic's KONGOS have a monster week, as breakthrough hit "Come With Me Now" is Most Added at Modern Rock. This week also saw Virgin's Bastille's followup, "Bad Blood," pick up a dozen new adds. Columbia officially closes down Foster the People's new hit, "Coming Of Age." Modular/Interscope impresses with Tame Impala's "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards." We see more closeout adds for "Fall in Love" by Republic's Phantogram. RCA, meanwhile, had another strong week with Sleeper Agent's "Waves."
