The toys are coming back out of the attic. Aerosmith’s 50th anniversary tour and final trek across North America has been rescheduled after frontman Steven Tyler suffered a severe vocal injury just three shows into the run in September 2023.

The 40-date, Live Nation-promoted Peace Out Tour will get back underway 9/20 in Pittsburgh with a one-off opening performance from Teddy Swims and ring in New Year's Eve with a homecoming show at Boston's TD Garden.

The Mark DiDia-managed The Black Crowes will open the rest of the dates in support of their recent first album in 14 years, Happiness Bastards. Sandwiched between the Crowes' Rich and Chris Robinson are Aerosmith's Joe Perry and Tyler, who promptly told us to walk this way right out of their dressing room.

Terrapin Station Entertainment CEO Jonathan Shank is teaming with Osiris Media to launch the new podcast The Jam, which is described "as an outlet for artists and industry stalwarts to tell untold stories, lift up musical heroes and find the connective tissue between the jam scene and the mainstream."

The series launches today (3/19) with two episodes: the first with Relix editor in chief Dean Budnick and the second with former American Idol judge Randy Jackson (spoiler alert: the latter is, somewhat surprisingly, a big fan of jam band kings Phish).

Look for interviews with The Doors' Robby Krieger, Traffic's Dave Mason, The Meters' George Porter Jr., jazz veteran Billy Cobham and rock photographer Henry Diltz later in the season. Episodes will also feature rare music and suggestions to pair the listening experience with unique toast and jam pairings.

"It’s such an honor and privilege to be joined by so many amazing artists, friends and fellow travelers," says Shank, a longtime Deadhead who now produces tours and live experiences through Terrapin Station. "The Jam is a place for people to listen, learn, laugh and lift up. After 15 years, The Black Crowes have migrated back to record stores today (3/15) with a new studio album, the Jay Joyce-produced and hilariously named Happiness Bastards. Out on the band's own Silver Arrow Records label, the LP includes the Crowes' first proper collab, the Lainey Wilson-featuring "Wilted Rose."

In celebration, the Robinson brothers-led, Red Light-managed band will tonight air a performance for Amazon Music's City Sessions taped last week at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. The action gets underway at 9 p.m. ET on Twitch.

Happiness Bastards will surely be music to the ears of Crowes fans, as it lives up to Joyce's description of sounding "old school real, live and raw. These guys came to town like a freight train—ready to lay it down, no bullshit. They brought the OG magic of their early albums along with some young punk spirit. I was honored to have captured it."

Added Wilson, "it’s an honor to wail on this record with these legendary, pioneering rock stars. Welcome back boys! You’ve been missed."

Those pesky critics seem to agree, with Esquire praising the album's "hard-charting riffs with echoes of Memphis soul and old-school barroom boogie," and Mojo hailing it as "a thrilling return, oozing sass and swagger."

A tour in support of Happiness Bastards begins 4/2 at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry and will proceed to such locales as Los Angeles' Greek Theatre (4/12) and New York's Radio City Music Hall (4/27) before descending on Europe in May and June.
