U.K. CHARTS: A HISTORIC #1

Interscope’s BLACKPINK is the first K-Pop girl group to hit #1 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart while over on singles, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha rise to the top.

It’s an all-new Top 5 with Suede’s Autofiction (BMG) at #2, Rina Sawayama’s Hold the Girl (Dirty Hit) at #3, Marcus Mumford’s (self-titled) (Island) at #4, and a reissue of Pink Floyd’s  1977 album Animals (Parlophone) at #5.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “I’m Good (Blue)” (Parlophone) by Guetta and Rexha rises one to #1. The track made its way to the top with 5.4m streams this week after first entering the Top 10 three weeks ago.

Elsewhere, James Hype and Miggy Dela Rosa’s “Ferrari” (Island) hits a new peak at #6, as does Chris Brown’s “Under the Influence” (RCA), at #8. Just outside the Top 10, Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” (RCA) rises two to #11.

This week’s highest new entry is “PSYCHO” (Warner Music U.K.) by Anne-Marie and Aitch at #16.
