"JAZZY" JIM UPPED TO KMVQ PD: COOL, DADDY-O

“Jazzy” Jim Archer has been upped to PD at 99.7 Now (KMVQ-FM) San Francisco, which is now becoming part of Bonneville's holdings. Archer, previously APD/MD, has worked at the station since 2011. "Jazzy is the natural choice to continue 99.7 Now's amazing run to the top in Bay Area radio," said Carl Gardner, Market Manager for Bonneville San Francisco. "He knows the street and has the feel for what's hot right now." Bonneville will take on the outlet as result of the divestiture required by the Entercom/CBS merger. The broadcast entity owns and operates stations in Seattle, Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City.

Halsey's "Bad At Love" (Astralwerks/Capitol) moves up inside the Top 10. Post Malone's "Rockstar" f/ 21 Savage (Republic) joins the Top 15. Calvin Harris' "Faking It" f/ Kehlani & Lil Yachty (Columbia) climbs into the Top 20. And joining the chart this week is Taylor Swift's "End Game" f/ Ed Sheeran & Future (Big Machine/Republic).

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year, it marks the beginning of the holiday season, and I love cooking, planning the meal and decorating the house. There’s a lot going on as we head into the holiday break. This year, it looks like we’ll have lots to celebrate. Enjoy your turkey, hug your family and friends, and get ready for some great football this weekend!Republic’s Spangler and Russell will certainly have lots to celebrate as Taylor Swift takes the top of the album chart with reputation (Big Machine) and has no less than three singles currently being played on T40 radio. “…Ready for It?” is now Top 15 and “End Game” ended up in the Top 10 Most Added column, pulling in 20 new stations that include KIIS, KHKS and KVIL. We hear the research story on Post Malone f/21 Savage’s “rockstar” is massive as the track joins the Top 15. It’s also #1 when it comes to U.S. consumption. Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me” (Safehouse/Hollywood/Island) impacted this week and pulled in Music Choice, WBMP, WKSC and KZZP, just to name a few. Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso f/Florida Georgia Line & watt’s “Let Me Go” is heading Top 20, while the iTunes sales explode in airplay markets. Clean Bandit f/Julia Michaels’ “I Miss You” (Big Beat) was Top 5 Most Added on impact, scoring airplay from KIIS, KDIS, WZPL and WODS. Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor” debuted this week on both the MB chart and debuted Top 5 on iTunes with over 200k daily streams on Spotify. J Balvin & Willy Williams f/Beyoncé’s “Mi Gente” (PW/UMLE) is heading Top 15. Lorde f/Post Malone, SZA & Khalid’s “Homemade Dynamite” is chartbound with new adds on board from WMBP, KMVQ, KYLD and KPWK.Warner Bros. Gray, Dyer, Reich and Shih are thanking the callout gods this week as the research stories on Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” stack up just in time for the Top 10 push and 40+ stations move to subpower. Y100 PD Alex Tear says, “Dua Lipa’s market response was immediately positive on this track. Each week saw more growth with exposure, so we put our foot on the gas and the returns have been great!” Bebe Rexha f/FGL’s “Meant to Be” debuted this week and the streams and sales numbers all kicked in. New this week are KBFF, WRVW, WXSS and KXXM. Macklemore f/Kesha’s “Good Old Days” (Bendo), which has garnered more than 53m Spotify streams to date, is headed Top 20 after pulling in big spin increases from KIIS, WKSC and WDZH.Caroline’s Saturn, Halpern and Holman have put NF’s “Let You Down” in the Most Added column for the fourth week in a row, and they’ve pulled in over 125 stations to date. This week, the track moves Top 30 and scores new airplay from WXSS, WWWQ and WIHT.This week, Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughan debuted Harry Styles’ “Kiwi”—the video for which pulled in 9m+ views in just five days. It was one of the Most Added tracks once again, and new airplay markets include WBMP, WDZH, WWMX and WBLI. Calvin Harris f/Kehlani & Lil Yachty’s “Faking It,” which is heading Top 30, pulled in 14 new stations this week, including Venus, WHQC, WWPW and WZFT. N.E.R.D. & Rihanna “Lemon” continues to build the good story, scoring new airplay from seven stations; Music Choice, KENZ, WXSS are all on board.RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio and Cooper are celebrating Kesha’s “Praying” (Kemosabe) as it moves to Power rotation at Z100, WIOQ, KZHT and WKST, just to name a few of the majors. It hits just as “Bad at Love” (Astralwerks) moves Top 10. With perfect timing, the track has cleared the panel and looks headed for the top. Capitol’s Marella, Rainey and Siciliano also have Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” which is on the verge of joining the Top 10 at MB. The album The Thrill of It All debuted #1 last week. Columbia has two tracks in the Top 10, Harry Styles' "Kiwi" with 19 new adds and Calvin Harris' "Faking It" f/Kehlani & Lil Yachty with 14.
