FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC

Future & Metro Boomin make good on their pledge to release two albums just weeks apart, and the second, WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, heads straight to the top of the iTunes albums chart this Flipover Friday.

Buoyed by the 17 songs on the 3/22 release WE DON’T TRUST YOU, WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU (Boominati/Freebandz/Republic/Epic) starts at #2 at Apple Music. The collection has 25 tracks in total, eight of them new. The title track has worked its way into the Top 30 at Apple Music songs.

It leads a Top 6 of new arrivals at iTunes. The 10th solo album by former Dire Straits leader Mark Knopfler, One Deep River (British Grove/Blue Note), floats in at #2.

A Linkin Park compilation, Papercuts (Warner), slices in at #3, while Maggie RogersDon’t Forget Me (Capitol) opens at #4 a day after Rogers announced her first arena tour. Square Enix Music’s soundtrack to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is #5.

Riley Green’s seven-song Way Out Here (BMLG) cruises to #6; another country set, Strong (EMI Nashville), by former Florida Georgia Line co-leader Tyler Hubbard, powers up at #8. The deluxe version of Chris Brown’s 11:11 (RCA), with 13 new tracks, is #9.

Just outside the Top 10 are new titles by Ernest, girl in red and Ellie Holcomb and a 51-song compilation of studio and live recordings by the Eagles.

Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” (Empire) and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” (Island) are the top new arrivals at iTunes songs.
