PRIDE MUSIC ROUNDUP

In support of Pride month, Spotify is partnering with Netflix on their original series, Queer Eye, to encourage listeners to celebrate and self-express their pride through music. The new Fab Five cast, which features Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France, showcase their musical tastes through Spotify Playlists, sharing what they find to be inspirational and empowering.

Featured in the Fab Five’s playlists, Superfruit was also one of the artists performing at the L.A. Pride Festival in West Hollywood last weekend. The event, which was sold out for the first time, boasted over 40k in attendance on Saturday (6/9). Music from Kehlani to Tove Lo, Icona Pop, Kim Petras and more filled three stages.

In addition to Kehlani’s performance, she also released the video for “What I Need” with Hayley Kiyoko, one of many videos to debut during Pride month. "Dance to This," the highly anticipated collaboration between LGBTQ icons Ariana Grande and Troye Sivan, was released on 6/13; other notable videos dropping include MNEK and Hailee Steinfeld’s “Colour,” sure to be an LGBTQ summer anthem, Sivan’s “Bloom,” Tove Lo’s “Bitches” featuring Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant, and ALMA, Betty Who’s “All Things” (also the theme song for Queer Eye), and Dorian Electra’s "Career Boy.”

Now, if you'll excuse us, we'll be prancing around under our rainbow confetti.
