REVENUE CHART: BLAME IT ON THE WEATHER

Looks like the biz has hit a slow stretch amid the stream-powered prosperity. While it’s nothing to be alarmed about, earnings are trending slightly downward for the second straight week—from -5% to -20% in the Top 10—while only nine tracks generated six figures. On top of that, the only newcomers on the Song Revenue Chart are album cuts from the debuting Logic and Lil Yachty releases.

This spell of inertia puts the spotlight on the odd couple of Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line, whose genre-blurring collab “Meant to Be” stands as the lone Top 10 newcomer, entering the leaderboard at #8 and breaking the $100k mark with a 6% uptick. That gives the new, improved Warner Bros. Records a second Top 10 entry, joining Blocboy JB with Drake on the latter’s OVO imprint.

Overall, Drizzy and Post Malone remain large and in charge, deriving the bulk of their revenue from streaming, as is the case with all the big singles apart from the relatively balanced Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey, Bebe-FGL and Ed Sheeran.
