VOICE VS IDOL: THE SAGA CONTINUES

Once again, NBC’s The Voice and ABC's American Idol went head to head for ratings in Monday night's 8-10pm time slot, and once again, The Voice came out on top with an audience of 10.6m+. This week was down compared to last week’s 11.72m-strong audience, but enough to beat Idol’s 7.74m viewership.

The Voice also upped its star power, announcing the new coach advisers. This season sees Trace Adkins advising Blake Shelton, who’s won six of the previous seasons, Julia Michaels is with Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes teams up with with Alicia Keys and first-time coach Kelly Clarkson has Hailee Steinfeld on her team.
