THE YULE LOG: PENTATONIX TOP HOLIDAY TITLES

The Christmas-green graphic below ranks the top holiday albums, based on sales and streams. As expected, RCA's Pentatonix dominates with two in the Top 5: A Pentatonix Christmas at #1 and That's Christmas to Me at #3.

Beyond the a cappella gifts that keep giving, it’s the oldies that are the chart goodies. The only new recordings released this year in the Top 10 are Gwen Stefani’s You Make it Feel Like Christmas (Interscope) and Warmer in the Winter from fiddler Lindsey Sterling. Among the evergreens: Vince Guaraldi’s 52-year-old Charlie Brown Christmas; Capitol/UMe’s fresh package of Frank Sinatra gems recorded between 1954 and 1991; and Nat Cole’s holiday chestnuts from the ‘50s and ‘60s on The Christmas Song.

By the by, A Very Pentatonix Christmas re-airs on NBC on 12/6 at 8/7 Central, and viewers can Shazam performances for access to exclusive content.
