REVENUE CHART: POST TAKES ANOTHER BITE

Post Malone’s “rockstar,” like “Despacito” before it, continues to tower over the field in the latest edition of our BuzzAngle-powered Song Revenue Chart. The massive streaming smash generated just under a quarter of a million bucks—that’s $33k under last week’s tally, but’s it’s $113k over the #2 earner, Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.” And get this: “I Fall Apart,” from Post’s debut album Stoney, which debuted last week at #21, has shot into the Top 10 at #6, while prior hit “Congratulations” moves up two slots to #17. Together, the three tracks have pulled in a hair over $400k—not bad for a week’s work.

The second big story is Imagine Dragons, whose “Thunder” continues its ascent: the last four weeks, the song has gone #38-15-7-3. The band’s pervious track, “Believer,” is hanging around at #20. The third record to watch is “Mi Gente” from J. Balvin f/Willy William, which hits the Top 5 on a 75% jump.

And Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” turns out to be the biggest fan fave from the late, great artist’s extraordinary catalog, entering the chart at #30.
