SHEERAN'S "PERFECT" GAME... AND A SPOTIFY RECORD

Ed Sheeran, who today dropped a new single, "Perfect," and an accompanying lyric video, now claims, in "Shape of You," the biggest streaming song ever on Spotify with 1.318 billion streams, surpassing Drake's "One Dance."

You can check out the new lyric clip below; the ginger troubadour will deliver a premiere performance of the tune on Good Morning America at the top of the week.

The new tune, which is the third single from Sheeran's monster set ÷ (Atlantic), recalls the lushest romantic pop of the '50s. Expect it to become the soundtrack for all manner of love scenes, on screens and IRL.

Sheeran's North American tour continues with a three-night engagement at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on 9/29.
