FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The death of Chester Bennington has affected the iTunes album chart on this flipover Friday as three Linkin Park albums ascend into the Top 10. Lana Del Rey’s latest Interscope release is the leader among new releases.

Del Rey’s fifth album, Lust for Life, holds down the top spot at iTunes one of 12 new releases in the Top 20. (It should be noted that there is no connection between LDR's latest work and the Iggy Pop LP or the Vincent Van Gogh biopic of the same name.)

Meek Mill’s Wins & Losses (Maybach/Atlantic) and Tyler, the Creator’s Columbia debut Flower Boy are #2 and #3 at iTunes a nd the reverse order at Apple Music. NAV & Metro Boomin’s Perfect Timing (XO/Republic) is #9 at Apple Music, #13 at iTunes.

Back at iTunes, Ritual’s In This Moment (Atlantic) opens at #5, Romeo SantosGolden (Sony Latin) #7 and Disney’s soundtrack for the TV movie Descendants 2 is #10.

New releases from Nine Inch Nails, Foster the People, Sara Evans, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and ParmaLee occupy slots 11-20.

Linkin Park has four Warner Bros. albums in the Top 20—their latest, One More Light, Hybrid Theory, Meteora and Minutes to Midnight— and three songs in the Top 10—“In the End,” “Numb” and “Heavy.”

Louis Tomlinson's "Back to You" (Epic), with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals, scoots up to #3 while the new single from his former 1D bandmate Niall Horan, "Slow Hands" (Capitol), is #7.
