DRAGONS V. KHALED: DUELING GENRES

The battle between Imagine Dragons' Evolve and DJ Khaled's Grateful is upon us, pitting two giants from different genres against each other, with each act riding high on incredible momentum going into release.

The KidinaKorner/Interscope band has taken an early lead over the We The Best/Epic ringmaster at iTunes, where the Dragons’ Evolve is #1 and Khaled’s Grateful is #2 in the early going.

The forecast for Khaled was 150-160k SPS, with Dragons projected to hit 140-150k. Could we see an upset on next week's chart?

As streaming, where hip-hop dominates, kicks into the equation, it'll be interesting to see what inroads the rockers make throughout the week.
