Major congrats to all the 66th Grammy Award winners! That was quite a show and RCA had a few artists that took home some hardware, including SZA and Victoria Monét. Their timing couldn’t have been any better as Lori G and Inca ended the week with Monét’s “On My Mama” (Lovett Music) at the top of the chart with a 600-spin boost. We are just over a month into the new year, and we already have a new #1 record. RCA remains red hot as they also take Chris Brown’s “Sensational” f/Davido & Lojay to #11 after picking up an increase of more than 350 spins. Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me,” which is currently Top 5 at Spotify U.S., enters the Top 25 this week with a jump of 440 spins, while Sleepy Hallow’s “ANXIETY” climbs four spots to #31. And they also debut Justin Timberlake’s “Selfish” at #26, which was this week’s highest debut with an increase of 660 spins. Davey Dee and Republic have Nicki Minaj’s “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert poised to hit #1 this week or next. She has been the Greatest Gainer for an impressive seven weeks now. Drake’s “You Broke My Heart” ends the week at #8 and is up 440 spins. The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” f/JENNIE (XO) enters the Top 15 and scores a 275-spin boost; the next goal on this is to hit the Top 10. Meanwhile, Minaj’s “FTCU” just misses out on the Top 15 this week but still manages to add 340 spins to her total. She’s also kicking off her tour on 3/1. Epic’s Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson see 21 Savage’s “neé-nah” f/Travis Scott & Metro Boomin rocket inside the Top 20 after scoring a triple digit increase of 685 spins. 21 also has “redrum” that is exploding at Urban and has debuted on the Rhythm chart this week. They will officially be impacting this track, which is Top 10 on Spotify’s Global chart and #4 U.S., in two weeks. Meanwhile, they’re impacting Doe Boy’s “Way Too Long” this week, which ended at #42 but is already on the building chart at #39 as I write this. There is a great buzz on this one. And Tyla (fresh off her Grammy win) has a new single entitled “Truth or Dare” that will impact Rhythm radio next week. Columbia’s James White has Beyoncé’s “MY HOUSE” (Parkwood) perched at #17 this week after gaining 155 spins. Lil Nas X’s “J CHRIST” is right behind at #18 and picks up 170 spins. Nino and Interscope continue to build JID’s “Surround Sound” f/21 Savage & Baby Tate (DVille) each week. The track secures a 565-spin jump, good enough for #6 this week. It will end inside the Top 5 and then the push for #1 will begin. Dixie and Capitol have had Offset’s “Worth It” f/Don Toliver moving up the chart for 14 weeks and it’s going in the right direction; he climbs one position to #9. And after adding 525 spins to her total, Ice Spice’s “Think U the Shit (Fart)” (10K Projects) debuts at #33. The track is currently perched in the Top 20 on Spotify’s U.S. chart. It has been a pretty rough start to the winter for the Northeast as parts of Maryland, New York and other states saw significant snowfall for the first time in nearly two years. I am down in Florida, where the temps dropped to under 40, which sends the locals into a panic. And being a Baltimore guy, big congrats to Ravens for making it to the AFC Championship game! They will host the Chiefs this week in Baltimore. One win away from the Super Bowl! Although the temps are still cold, at least the chart is starting to heat up. Jack Harlow holds at #1 for a third week as other tracks in the Top 10 line up to make their run. RCA’s Lori G and Inca have Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama” (Lovett Music) climbing to #3 this week. They also have Chris Brown’s “Sensational” f/Davido & Lojay entering the Top 15 this week, gaining nearly 400 spins along the way. They are impacting two records this week, Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” (’94 Sounds) and Sleepy Hallow’s “ANXIETY” (Winners Circle), which both look to be in the Most Added column this week. Strazz and Columbia hold down the #22 and #23 spots with Beyoncé’s “MY HOUSE” (Parkwood) and Loui & NLE Choppa’s “No Distractions,” and both records continue to grow. Columbia also impacted Lil Nas X’s “J CHRIST” last week. The track comes in as the highest debut on the chart at #26 after adding 663 spins to his total. It also debuted on the Spotify Global chart this week. Nino and Interscope welcome JID’s “Surround Sound” f/21 Savage & Baby Tate (DVille) to the Top 10 this week. It scores an increase of 695 spins and shows no signs of slowing down. It’s also Top 15 at Spotify U.S. and Top 10 at both Shazam U.S. and Global. Over at Republic, Davey Dee continues to drive Drake’s “First Person Shooter” f/J. Cole (OVO) toward the #1 spot. Up 315 spins, the track ends the week at #5. The big story is the success of Nicki Minaj. Her track “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert rockets #12-7 and adds nearly 800 spins to her total, while “FTCU” leaps nine spots to #24 and gains 610 spins. Both singles are streaming extremely well and appear on the Shazam U.S. chart. Meanwhile, Drake’s other track, “You Broke My Heart,” holds at #11 with an increase of 340 spins. And The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” w/JENNIE & Lily Rose Depp enters the Top 20 this week, thanks to another boost of more than 250 spins. The track is currently #6 on Spotify Global. Dixie and Capitol continue to build Offset’s “Worth It” f/Don Toliver. This is up another 200 spins and ends the week at #10. Noah Sheer and Def Jam’s hard work pays off as 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne’s “Transparency” f/Usher joins the Top 15 after picking up 210 spins. The next goal on this one is to reach the Top 10. Over at Epic, Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson are impacting 21 Savage’s “nee-nah” this week. The single is already perched inside the Top 50. There is another track from the album that is also buzzing, entitled “redrum,” which will impact Urban radio this week and eventually cross over to Rhythm; it’s currently #16 on the Shazam Global chart and #13 U.S. Most Increased:Nicki Minaj’s “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert (Republic)JID’s “Surround Sound” f/21 Savage & Baby Tate (DVille/Epic-Interscope)Lil Nas X’s “J CHRIST” (Columbia)Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” (Republic)Ariana Grande’s “yes, and?” (Republic) Buzz Records:Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU” (Republic)Ariana Grande’s “yes, and?” (Republic)21 Savage’s “nee-nah” (Epic)Sleepy Hallow’s “ANXIETY” (Winners Circle/RCA)Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” (’94 Sounds/RCA)
